What inspires me

“He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.” ~ Albert Einstein

There is so much about this vast and beautiful universe that I find inspiring. Here are just a few examples of places, people, and things that I derive inspiration from.

My roots and wings

August Gold  “Discover that what’s happening to you is really happening for you.”

Centers for Spiritual Living  Teaching the Science of Mind.

Genevieve Vulser – Heaven on Earth  Angel mediator, spiritual teacher, and friend.

The Hoffman Process  The most transformational week of my life (so far)!

Oasis Healing Arts – Fran Klos  Hypnotherapist, Reiki master, my mother, my friend.

The Foundation for Shamanic Studies  Preserving, researching, and teaching shamanic knowledge.

Parenting

Aha! Parenting – Dr. Laura Markham  Connection-based parenting so that we can give our kids the two things they really need: Love (nurturing, respect, empathy, cherishing) and High (age-appropriate) expectations.

Blossom Birth  My home away from home during pregnancy and my boys’ early months/years!

Little Hearts/Gentle Parenting Resources  “Gentle Parenting is about guiding instead of controlling, connecting instead of punishing, encouraging instead of demanding. It’s about listening, understanding, responding, and communicating. Here you will find parenting tips, articles, and research to help parents, teachers, and caregivers develop a kinder, more peaceful, and instinctive approach to growing our most precious natural resource…our children!”

Positive Parenting  “A source of information and support for all parents who are interested in the philosophy of Positive Parenting.”

The tangible

Earthegy  “Ancient gems, modern jewels.”

Healing Crystals  “Promoting the education and use of crystals to support healing.”

Hidden Villa  “Hidden Villa is a nonprofit educational organization that uses its organic farm, wilderness, and community to teach and provide opportunities to learn about the environment and social justice.”

Tees for Change “At Tees For Change we believe in the power of positive intention.  Positive words and thoughts create a positive life. . . . While wearing a tee shirt with an inspiring message on it, not only do we remind ourselves to incorporate more of the phrase on the tee, we also remind others to do the same.  This creates positive interactions with the people we encounter throughout our day.”

Gratitude

I literally would not be where I am today without the love and support of all of the wonderful people in my life. If I listed everyone who has touched me in that way, this page would end up being a mile long. But I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the “short list,” those who have provided me with daily inspiration and support on this journey, and allow me to be Who I Am so clearly and absolutely. Thank you!
